Oxi Fresh Donates Hundreds of Meals to Local Hospital

Carpet Cleaning Franchise Works with Local Business to Help Frontline Workers

Lakewood, Colorado – Oxi Fresh, one of the fastest growing carpet cleaning franchises in the nation, recently donated nearly 600 meals to St. Anthony Hospital to feed the frontline healthcare workers there. Oxi Fresh plans on continuing to donate more meals in the future.

“Right now, the world is going through a crisis,” said the company’s president, Jonathan Barnett, “and the people fighting on the frontlines of this pandemic are healthcare workers. Every day they go into work, they put themselves at risk in order to bring healing and hope to both those under their care and the community at large. These caregivers are true heroes.”

“As a company headquartered just about a block away from one of the hospitals where these heroes are working, we wanted to give back. We wanted to support them in a tangible way. That’s why we decided to donate meals.”

Last Thursday, April 23rd, Mr. Barnett purchased hundreds of sandwiches from a local business and, with that business owner’s help, delivered the meals to St. Anthony’s.

“We are incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support we’ve received from across our communities,” said Gerald Winston Tripp II, the chief medical officer at the hospital, “and this generous donation from Firehouse Subs (and Oxi Fresh Carpet Cleaning) will directly support our front-line associates as they care for our patients.”

    Supporting the Franchise Family
Oxi Fresh was also pleased that through this donation, they could also help another cause close to their hearts – franchising.

“A lot of companies are going through a tough time,” said the company’s vice president, Kris Antolak, “and while we all understand the importance of social distancing and flattening the curve, it’s still rough for a lot of people. That’s why we’re pleased that by choosing to buy from Firehouse Subs, we could not only benefit the healthcare workers but also a fellow franchised business – and a neighbor. Brandon Gerstein, the owner of that Firehouse Subs location, is just a block or so away from our Home Office.”

Giving Back: An Oxi Fresh Priority
This recent donation to St. Anthony Hospital isn’t a one-off for the carpet cleaning franchise. In fact, their brand regularly gives to Water.org, donating with every online booking scheduled at their website (www.oxifresh.com).

“From its inception, Oxi Fresh was built to give back,” said Jonathan Barnett, “And we couldn’t be happier to have found an amazing organization like Water.org to support. They’ve helped literally tens of millions of people through their innovative investment strategies and activism. They’ve made life better for so many, and we’re just happy we can help them with their mission.”
