Oxi Fresh Ranks in Entrepreneur Listing; Carpet Cleaning Franchisee Featured in Companion Article

Oxi Fresh Carpet Cleaning, one of the fastest-growing carpet cleaning franchises in the world, was featured in the October/November edition of Entrepreneur magazine. In this publication, Entrepreneur released the “The Top 150 Franchises for Veterans” listing.

The magazine’s team examined nearly 600 franchise brands that were offering incentives to veterans. Then—based on the value of those incentives, the number of veterans already working with those companies, how the companies ranked in the overall Franchise 500, and various other considerations—they narrowed that list down to 150 franchise companies.

Oxi Fresh was ranked #121 out of #150. This year, Oxi Fresh was also ranked #469 in the general Franchise 500, #48 for Top Franchises for Less Than $50,000, #65 for Fastest-Growing Franchises (U.S. & Canada), and #79 for Fastest-Growing Franchises (Global).

“We’re always proud to be ranked in Entrepreneur magazine,” said the carpet cleaning franchise’s founder, Jonathan Barnett, “Their listings are well researched and useful for business people looking into the world of franchising. We’re especially proud to rank among the top franchises for veterans. They’ve made real sacrifices for all of us, and so giving back and supporting organizations like VetFran is the least we can do.”

As a member of VetFran, an organization committed to educating “veterans and franchisors about the unique match between the skills and aptitude of entrepreneurial veterans and the demands and opportunities of being a franchisee,” Oxi Fresh offers veterans a 10% discount on the purchase of an Oxi Fresh franchise.

    Veterans in Franchising—Sean Rotolo

Accompanying the list of top franchise brands were a series of articles focused on various franchisees who served in the military. Included among them was Sean Rotolo, an Oxi Fresh carpet cleaning franchisee.

Sean operates several territories in Florida, providing service to Yulee, Jacksonville, Jacksonville Beaches, Orange Park, St. Augustine, and surrounding areas. Before joining Oxi Fresh, Sean served for over 15 years in the U.S. Navy; in fact, he still serves in the U.S. Navy Reserves.

2019 saw Sean fully launch his franchise with Oxi Fresh; he reached nearly 250K in sales during that year. In 2020, despite the pandemic, he grew his carpet cleaning franchise by 36% while also maintaining the employment of his entire team; he was also named a Franchisee Rockstar by the Franchise Business Review. In 2021, Sean and his wife Cristina were also named Clients of the Year by The Entrepreneur Source.

Sean is also an active part of his community, being a member of multiple chambers of commerce and a co-founder of the Veteran Business Connection. This organization works with veterans, giving them access to various resources, educational tools, and mentoring programs designed to help them break into the business world.
