We’re proud of the fact that we can rescue carpets while respecting our planet. With our green solutions and energy-efficient practices, we make carpets look and feel fresh despite years of heavy use.

Our modern cleaning methods also allow us to conserve vast quantities of water. Compared to traditional steam cleaning franchises, we conserve 95% of the water that they would waste; that’s 38-58 gallons of water saved per typical home. Being environmentally responsible is core to who we are as a carpet cleaning franchise, but it’s not the only way we’re helping the global community. Back in 2015, Oxi Fresh began supporting Water.org by donating every time a customer booked a job online through www.oxifresh.com.

These funds go to support the non-profit’s vital mission – helping fight the global water crisis. Billions of people around the world don’t have access to safe water; even more don’t have a sanitary toilet.

Communities suffer enormously as a result, with water, sanitation, and hygiene related diseases killing more than a million people a year. Lack of safe water also keeps people trapped in poverty, with countless hours lost to carrying and collecting water.

Water.org is fighting this global water crisis by working with communities around the world. Through micro-loans and local involvement, they help people get access to safe water and sanitation solutions. Wisely, these aren’t fancy water pumps and purifiers that will break down and leave the community with machines they can’t possibly fix.

Instead, Water.org takes a sustainable approach to these solutions. They find options that will work best for the community, ones that they can maintain and use for years and years down the road. They also work to help educate people about sanitation, providing invaluable lessons that can make a significant impact.

This organization, founded by Gary White and Matt Damon, has helped tens of millions of people already – people whose lives are immeasurably better thanks to the tireless efforts and innovative thinking of Water.org.
